12/21/2012 is indeed a big thing that has been creating waves among the people of the fact or a myth that the world would end soon. 12/21/2012 is largely set in the minds of the people that many people have started to live their lives as though the world would end. 12/21/2012 depicts the end of the solstice and the beginning of the new era which has been mistakenly set in the minds of the people that the world would indeed end. The Mayan elders have been so knowledgeable that they had indeed predicted future happenings in the past such as the arrival of certain comets and the day of the eclipses without any scientific information or scientific devices. The Mayan calendar depicts the last date of the calendar to be the 12/21/2012 which is the thing that has been instilling fear in the hearts and minds of the people such that many of the cities have started to live their lives as though the world is going to end. The phenomenon that the world would end remains a mystery. It can either be a fact or a myth and many scientists and astrologers have joined hands in decoding the Mayan calendar and to what exactly would happen on the last date of the Mayan calendar. The Mayans were so strong in all the fields that whatever they predicted had indeed happened in the past and that is the major reason why there has been such a fear among the people of the world. Overall, 12/21/2012 is one of the major factors depicting the end of the world and which is not proved but still remains a hidden mystery and would only be concluded when there is ample evidence confirming the incident that would depict the end of the world.
